Gov. Rick Scott has new twin grandsons, Louie and Jude, the proud granddad announced via Twitter today.
“Incredibly grateful for these new beautiful & healthy members of our family- Louie & Jude. @FLAnnScott,” the governor (@FLGovScott) tweeted.
The boys are the sons of Scott’s daughter, Allison, and her husband, Pierre.
The governor and First Lady Ann Scott now have six grandsons.
Scott had announced his daughter’s pregnancy during his State of the State address in March.
“In fact, Ann and I just found out that our daughter Allison and her husband Pierre will be welcoming twins later this year!” Scott said. “This will make Ann and me proud grandparents to six wonderful grandchildren! When I started this job, Ann and I didn’t have any grandkids. Now, we will have six. Certainly, my daughters were listening when I said, “Let’s get to work!”
