COUNTDOWN TO INAUGURATION DAY (Jan. 20, 2017): 6 DAYS

LATEST NEWS

President-elect Trump joined untold numbers of other Americans in posting social media reactions, pro and con, to the congressional effort to kill Obamacare.

Trump also tweeted his satisfaction with the performance of his Cabinet picks in Senate confirmation hearings this week. Several of the nominees sparked much commentary by taking positions very different from the president-elect’s, but Trump insisted that is what he expects. “All of my Cabinet nominee are looking good and doing a great job. I want them to be themselves and express their own thoughts, not mine!”

Trump also rifled five more tweets ripping the attention given to the “fake news” intelligence dossier and the probe into the FBI’s handling of the Hillary Clinton email saga.

Trump’s inauguration committee has raised a record $90 million to cover the expenses related to the festivities surrounding the swearing-in of the nation’s 45th president.
