Though President Donald Trump is already coming to Mar-a-Lago for the third time in as many weeks, he seems to be planning a side trip in the midst of his stay.
A Federal Aviation Administration notice issued Wednesday morning shows Trump is expected at the Orlando Melbourne International Airport between 4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday. Florida Today reports that the visit is being called a “thank you rally.” Trump previously visited the airport in September, before Florida helped give him the electoral college votes needed to win the presidency.
Details of Trump’s visit to Mar-a-Lago haven’t yet been released by the FAA. But earlier guidance suggested Trump would be staying here through Sunday, so the Melbourne trip could involve additional flights in and out of Palm Beach International Airport and additional traffic snarls.
