&;As a soldier in Afghanistan, I fought for every single one of you. I never cared about race, color or if you were a Democrat or Republican and that&8217;s the same way I&8217;ll fight for you in Congress,&; says Mast in the new 30-second spot.

Mast was an Army bomb specialist who lost his legs in an IED blast, and his latest ad shows his prosthetic limbs as he stands in front of a war memorial. The ad ends with Mast declaring that &8220;America will always be worth everything I have.&8221;

The National Republican Congressional Committee is also running a new ad that touts Mast&8217;s &8220;service over self on the battlefield and here at home.&8221;

The NRCC ad is running the positive Mast spot at the same time it&8217;s airing an attack ad against Perkins, accusing him of profiting from human misery as head of disaster-relief giant Ashbritt Inc. Perkins is threatening to sue over the ad&8217;s characterization of his dealings with the Broward County school district.
